About the Workshop
This workshop is designed for individuals who want to make a positive impact on society by developing engineering solutions to complex social challenges. Based on pedagogies of collaboration and solidarity, the approach emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary
teamwork and cultural sensitivity. Participants will learn to apply transformative engineering principles and methods to create innovative and sustainable solutions that address the needs and values of diverse communities. They will develop skills
in effective communication and leadership, as well as entrepreneurship, in order to pursue opportunities for positive impact in societally responsible roles. Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and
skills to act as social entrepreneurs and innovators, appear in societally responsible roles, use their scientific/educational background in a transdisciplinary environment, and act in diverse, international and multicultural teams.
